Some doubts while translating Fink documents:
*****
File names only encode the language but not the full locale. Brazilian
Portuguese has quite a few lexical differences from European
Portuguese (especially different words for computer-related objects/
concepts), but I assume this shouldn't be a major concern... until
users in Portugal start complaining. ;)
*****
Static PHP files: should $title (PHP variable) be translated? For
example, in people.fr.php it was translated:
$title = "Contributeurs";
but it wasn't translated in people.es.php:
$title = "Contributors";
*****
Should "Fink Core Team" be translated? I've noticed that in French
only "Team" was translated while in Spanish the whole expression was
kept in English
*****
Fink Core Team members are out of synch between people.en.php and
organization.en.php
*****
